	Ms. Rosemarie Beres, Assistant Head/Head of Upper School Since 1981, Ms. Beres has served as the assistant headmaster and head of the upper school at Elmwood Franklin, where she is responsible for, among other things, curriculum development, coordination of testing, direction of high school placement programs, hiring of faculty and participation in long-range strategic planning. For more than thirty years she also worked as a psycho-educational consultant in private practice, evaluating, diagnosing, counseling and tutoring children based on referrals from schools, teachers, psychologists and parents.

	Ms. Kathleen McIntyre, Interim Head of Lower School Ms. McIntyre joined the Elmwood Franklin School team in 2006. After graduating with a B.A. in Anthropology and Political Science from SUNY at Buffalo, Ms. McIntyre volunteered for AmeriCorps and later worked as a senior case manager for the Big Brother Big Sister Program of Erie County. She moved to Washington D.C. to become a special education teacher, where she received her teaching certification and commenced her MA in teaching at Trinity University. Moving back to Buffalo, Ms. McIntyre became the director of SES operations for the Princeton Review before joining Elmwood Franklin School.
