Bonjour mes amis! If you click on the blue words, it will take you to a link with a song that you know from class.

Mme Boulos and I hope that you do not forget to practice French while you are at home, so we put together some songs to help you sing in French and remember what we did in class. To say hello or greet someone you can sing this song: Bonjour. Or maybe you remember one of our favorites, Bonjour, ça va?. They are both great songs to practice. Sing them everyday to your parents or your brothers or sisters or even your pet!

Now we can sing the numbers and the alphabet by listening and singing along with these great songs: L'Alphabet or Les Nombres.

For fun, let’s not forget how to say I’m hungry or I’m thirsty, J'ai Faim, J'ai soif, and if you want a challenge, here is a link to a quizlet page with the flashcards with all the words to the song: Quizlet. You can play a matching game with the lyrics. Try some other activities on Quizlet if you know how. If you are hungry, you can have some fruit:  J'aime les fruits.

You may want to take a tour of the famous Louvre museum! You can do that right from your own living room. How cool is that! Click on Le Louvre and you can pretend to walk the halls of the former palace. Look at some of the great art works but also look at the ceilings.

To review colors, try this video: Les couleurs. Second grade was working on the family and the house. Here is our favorite song: Ma Famille.

Some other things that you can do are to label things around the house in French if you know the words. Also draw a picture of things that you know how to say in French.

Maybe you could find a song that you remember from class and you could send me the link by email. I would be happy to add it to this document.

Je vous verrai bientot.
