As part of their ongoing Poetry unit, fourth graders had an unexpected visitor in writing class - math teacher extraordinaire, Alyssa Charles! Mrs. Charles shared several examples of clever poems about math, including one of her own. She then challenged the students to write their own poem about math. Many chose to write about Long Division, while other topics included circumference, multiplication, place value, and geometry. We can’t wait to see the final products (pun intended)!
