This fall, Hannon will return to EFS to share his experience with our students.
Connecting students with the wider world, Dr. Veetai Li, a pediatric neurosurgeon, and Dr. Lorna Fitzpatrick, a pediatric hematologist-oncologist, spoke to students about pediatric medical care in Kenya during an all-school assembly this week. For many years, the doctors have been traveling to Kijabe, Kenya to provide care to children in the local hospital. This summer, Hannon Levy, the brother of eighth grader Lauren ’18, will be joining the team on their annual trip. To support the work of Dr. Li, Dr. Fitzpatrick, and Hannon, the entire school community participated in a dress-down day and collectively donated $1,385.52 to help fund medical care for the children at Kijabe Hospital.
This fall, Hannon will return to EFS to share his experience with our students.
