Our 7th grade students got a glimpse into the cancer-research lab of EFS graduate Dayle Hodge '97, a MD/PhD candidate at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY. The students got to see real research impacting real problems as Dayle toured them through the lab and shared information on cancer, why it's so dangerous, and how it spreads. Dayle also shared how he first became interested in science—his EFS science fair projects and his passion to solve mysteries. He encouraged the students to work hard and get interested in current science problems and mysteries, so that one day they too could solve health problems.
