Seventh graders pair writing and artHow does it make you feel? What does it make you think of? These were the questions asked of seventh graders on their recent visit to Eleven Twenty Projects with their art and English teachers. The students used the gallery’s current exhibition of 2D and 3D wall hangings and sculptures by Dennis Maher as inspiration for creative writing. They were asked to connect their emotions and imaginations to the works they viewed and discussed. The students then wrote poems from those prompts.
