Visual and Performing Arts

At Elmwood Franklin, we believe creativity can and should be fostered in all children. National studies have proven that a quality visual and performing arts program can improve a student’s general intelligence and overall academic performance. The arts provide students with authentic learning experiences that engage their minds, hearts and bodies, nurturing the development of cognitive, social and personal competencies.

Immersion in the arts has always been a hallmark of the EFS experience. With regular art, music and drama instruction starting with the youngest of students, our children paint, draw, sing, act, sculpt, dance, practice and perform their way to a lasting appreciation of the instructive and intrinsic value of the arts.
