Teaching Staff Positions

Instructional Support Specialist/Director of the Learning Lab
FTE

Independent school with a commitment to growing a culturally proficient faculty seeks an Instructional Support Specialist for grades 5 through 8 for the 2025-2026 school year. The responsibilities of this position include: 
  • Director of  the Learning Lab in Upper School
  • Provide and coordinate reading, math, and social/emotional interventions and monitor student progress during those interventions
  • Coordinate initial and annual review meetings for students with accommodations plans,
  • Participate in the RTI process, 
  • Support teachers in integrating best practices for neurodiverse students, 
  • Coordinate extended time for students with IEPs and ensure testing accommodations are followed, 
  • Interpret psycho-educational evaluations and create Individual Learning Plans when as appropriate. 

A Masters degree in education and a minimum of three years of classroom experience is required, with a degree in special education preferred. A commitment to equity and inclusion is also required.
